GDPR & DPDA Compliance Policy

1. Overview and Roles

Alaknanda Infoplus ("we") is committed to compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDA). Under these frameworks:

• You (The Customer): Act as the Data Fiduciary (Controller). You determine the purposes and means of processing personal data regarding your end-users.
• Relia (Alaknanda Infoplus): Acts as the Data Processor. We process telemetry and session data on your behalf through our SDK and cloud infrastructure.

2. Processing Details and Security

All data transmitted to Relia is processed exclusively within our secure AWS (Amazon Web Services) architecture located in Mumbai, India. We utilize MongoDB and self-hosted ClickHouse databases.

We employ strict Privacy by Design principles. The Relia SDK performs automatic client-side sanitization. Sensitive Personal Data—including but not limited to email addresses, payment data, and contact information—is stripped or masked on the end-user's device. This data never touches our servers.

3. Subprocessors

To deliver our autonomous monitoring capabilities, we engage third-party subprocessors. Our primary AI subprocessor is OpenRouter. Because of our client-side masking, no sensitive Personal Identifiable Information (PII) is transmitted to OpenRouter. By using Relia, you authorize the use of these subprocessors.

4. Customer Obligations (Data Controller)

As the Data Controller, you must ensure that your use of the Relia SDK complies with all applicable privacy laws. You agree to:

• Obtain valid consent from your end-users before initializing session replay or telemetry tracking.
• Provide a transparent privacy policy to your end-users detailing the use of third-party processors like Relia.
• Not attempt to bypass the SDK's built-in PII masking mechanisms.

5. Data Subject Rights

If an end-user exercises their GDPR rights (e.g., Right to Erasure / Right to be Forgotten) regarding data processed by Relia, you (the Controller) can utilize the Relia dashboard or API to locate and permanently delete the applicable session/telemetry records from our AWS Mumbai servers.
